It feels like nowadays there aren’t enough people sharing their thoughts online. The internet needs more bloggers and/or influencers (I hate that word) who are trying to become relevant, famous or merely finding a way to monetize their free time by writing blog posts in an attempt to beat some algorithms they don’t even understand.
As a person working in tech for a long time, I have witnessed (and sometimes sadly contributed to) how the internet has gone from being a place nobody cared about to turning into a sad stage where everyone can be the performer and the audience at the same time. I always say that the most amazing thing the internet has given to humanity is also its biggest flaw: it has connected people all across the globe and given everyone a voice… so not surprisingly any idiot can become famous and gather a following and potentially cause real world harm.
Anyway, here I am! Doing everyone a service by being yet another voice amongst all the agonizing screams that make up the internet today.
I will probably write a lot of dumb things about topics I may not understand so I am claiming ignorance right here which means I am immune to any future criticism.
